      • 1999 1st place (1st Non-Brazilian) South Brazilian state championships, Rio Grande Do Sul, fighting for Brazilian Top team (South Brazilian state competition team division), purple belt division, middle weight.
      • 1999/2000 Qualified and represented Team Carlson Gracie and Brazilian Top Team as a Brazilian competitor (South Brazilian state competition team division). Blue belt and purple belt division, middle weight, Brazilian National Championships.
      • 2000-2001: Taught BJJ in Brazil under Walter Mattos in South Brazil and Cadu Francis in Sao Paulo.
