Dear Sponsors, Athletes and Fans of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling,
The 2008 FBT Thailand Competition set new standards. If you missed it, you missed something special. The level of competition was very high and included competitors from Europe, Bahrain, Japan and the United States in addition to wide representation from all of the East and Southeast Asian countries. Our competition featured a new venue that gave us many hundreds of spectators, a huge amount of competition mat space, unique, custom-designed medals as well as perks like sexy trophy girls to pass those medals out to our winners.
This year’s competition enjoyed the benefits of several key corporate partners that made many aspects of the event possible. Chief among these sponsors is FBT Sports Thailand whose major contributions earned it the prestigious position of Marquee Sponsor. FBT contributed all of the terrific rash guards, shirts for the competition staff as well as the MMA gear for our exciting MMA fighters.
Samitivej Hospital provided a world class medical first aid station that was staffed by nurses and physical therapists all weekend. Many competitors used this terrific (and FREE) service and we think it was one of many ways our 2008 competition set a new standard of safety for BJJ tournaments in SE Asia.
A big THANK YOU goes to Aggression Web Development who designed and maintained this website free of charge.
We would also like to recognize all of our other fine sponsors who contributed to this year’s competition including Fairtex, Elefin Coffee, True Fitness, Hard Times Pub, Torajiro Japanese Restaurant, American School of Bangkok (ASB) and Zendokai Karate School
And we thank all the teams that competed and supported our event.
